The pictures from Scribner’s website do not do it justice! This is one of the best and most beautiful places to get married! After looking at the online pictures, Scribner was the last place on my list to check out, but when I got to the site I instantly fell in love! My wedding planning experience was completely flawless and I attribute that to the fact that the majority of the vendors I worked with were from Scribner’s preferred vendors list, which was the most helpful tool ever! Mairi was my cooridinator on my day and I didn’t have to worry about anything and everything went absolutely PERFECT! It sounds like a story too good to be true but it rally was! I can still remember the first time I called Scribner Bend Vineyard and spoke with Mairi. We had many questions as most newly engaged couples would. Mairi was able to answer all of our questions and was very confident and reassuring. My fiancé and I set up an appointment for us to view the venue. Scribner Bend Vineyard was the first venue that we visited and we both fell in love with it instantly. Even though we knew this would be the place we would have our wedding, we felt that we needed to view the other venues on our list just to reinforce we were making the right decision. After visiting the other venues, there was no comparison. It only confirmed that Scribner Bend Vineyard was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the beginning to the end, Mairi was always there for us. She was extremely easy to work with and very reassuring and confidant every time we spoke, which is just what any bride needs! Mairi is very personal and makes you feel like you are the only bride and groom she is working with. Although, we were very impressed that every time she spoke about another bride and groom, she always referred to them by name. My fiancé and I chose the Dream Wedding Package at Scribner Bend Vineyard and were the first to have our wedding using this package. We were very happy with all of the vendors offered in the package. We both believe we definitely benefited from having all of the top vendors offered in the package. Since all of the vendors are very familiar with the venue, they were able to assist us in making sure that we were making the right choices to achieve our dream wedding. On the day of our wedding, Mairi was right there every step of the way ensuring that no detail was forgotten. Mairi takes great pride in her work and it shows. She is absolutely amazing and any bride and groom would be lucky to work with such an exceptional lady. Scribner Bend Vineyard is absolutely beautiful and we would recommend it to anyone that asked. From the day I first visited the Scribner Bend Winery on a meandering Sunday afternoon get away, to when Mark and Lorraine Scribner congratulated us with a heartfelt hug on that sunny July evening, we could have never pictured a more perfect wedding experience. Every moment of our wedding, the planning, the toasting of our “I do’s”, the last guest walking off the grounds- Scribner Bend Winery took such wonderful care of us. When I first walked onto the grounds of Scribner Bend, I knew that was the place I wanted to share my vows. I was so excited to find out my husband agreed! There was some special history there, we could tell. It was a place we could spend the evening celebrating with love, warmth, and our families. Rich and I couldn’t have asked for anything more of the family of Scribner Bend Winery. Our wedding day was perfect. While we imagine many couples say that, we truly mean it. It was perfect for many reasons not the least of which was Scribner Bend Vineyards. The location ideally provided beautiful surroundings that were lush with tall & full vines, flowers throughout and the serenity that comes from the vineyard and nearby river. We were able to have an evening event that took advantage of the various aspects of the vineyard each providing the feeling we were seeking: intimacy of the chardonnay garden for pre-wedding refreshments, joyous ceremony in the sunlight by the barn, a lavish & casually elegant tented lawn for dinner and romantic dancing under the stars. And every aspect had the intimacy and feeling of family you can only get with a family owned and cared for vineyard. The staff they have is an extension of the Scribner family and so too are you and your guests.
