The Tempranillo grape is from Spain so we thought the Spanish translation for dessert wine, "Vino de Postre", was a very fitting name.  This port-style wine is made with our 2010 Tempranillo grapes with luscious aromas of cordial cherries, cassis liqueur, vanilla and subtle notes of clove.

Our Syrah is cherished for its deep color, full-body, and high notes of blackberry and blueberry.  The sensational flavor of these dark fruits, vanilla, clove and violets will saturate your palate with an elegant lingering finish.

We are grateful to Greg Kondos, a world renown artist, for allowing us to use one of his signature Sacramento Delta paintings, "Sacramento River", for the label of our estate grown Syrah.

Our Black Hat Tempranillo is the star of our mature red wines.  Our winemakers battle to balance the glorious aromas and flavors of cherry, cassis, spice, and leather along with its bold tannins.

Edgy yet smooth, Tattoo is our artistic expression of the Cabernet Franc grape.  This is one of our most treasured varities in the vineyard and deserves all the attention and admiration it receives.  Our Cab Franc first captures your attention with the vibrant aromas of black cherry, cassis, and bell-pepper.  Once you taste it you are completely captivated; with its smooth tannins and layered flavors this will quickly become your go to wine.

This Merlot is not your typical "wimpy" Merlot.  Our Merlot has bold aromas and flavors of cherry, raspberry, cedar, and mocha with smooth tannins and a soft finish.  Although Merlot is not one of our most exotic wines, it will likely be one of your favorite wines.

Nero d'Avola ("nair-oh-davo-la"), a native of Sicily, has been thriving in our vineyards.  Being the last grape out of the vineyard our Nero d'Avola produces a full bodied red wine with superbly bold fruit and spice.

Aroma - cherries, black currants, liquorish with a dash of chili pepper

Flavor - black cherry, plum, toasted oak with strong smooth tannins

Our Black Hat Tempranilla, not to be confused with our Black Hat Tempranillo, is the star of our young red wines.  Our winemakers were able to artfully express more cherry, strawberry, and bright red fruit with the youthfulness of this Tempranillo.

Aroma - black cherries, dried fig, vanilla and cedar.

Flavors - fresh plum, black cherry, clove and tobacco notes with a lush finish.

This red wine was blended to express the best varietal traits of Syrah, Petit Syrah, and Tempranillo.  By aging these three wines in oak barrels and blending them together we were able to craft a sultry wine full of dark fruits and toasted oak.
